Hey Hustlers!

In the previous email, we sent you the “first principles”  of copywriting

Today is our second most important section, which is called “THE VALUE CREATION.”

Next few minutes, you will learn the “VALUE CREATION” method for copywriting.

In this module, we’ll be covering the relationship between value and money. You’re going to learn about what money is, why it exists, and how to make a lot of it.

This training will change the way you view money forever. This is one of the most important trainings of this entire program. Pay attention.

The Human Condition🧍

All humans share some common biological and psychological conditions/needs. These conditions/needs are present in every human and do not change. They are “baked-in” to the human experience.

We all need water.

We all need food.

We all need oxygen.

Etc.

Because we have these needs, we all constantly face physical and psychological problems trying to fulfill them.

A problem is a situation, question, or thing that causes pain (difficulty, stress, doubt, etc.).

Anyone alive is constantly facing problems.

While that may seem sad, it’s actually crucial to our survival & progress as humans.

Solving problems = Progression as a species

Think of all the “solutions” that you enjoy daily.

Cars.

Computers.

The Internet.

Netflix.

Hoodies.

These were ALL created as solutions to problems.

Problems lead to progress.

But why? Why do problems motivate us to solve them and therefore, conduce progress?

It’s because problems cause pain.

It’s the pain caused by problems that motivates us to act.

Pain can be defined as any unpleasant physical or psychological sensation.

Pain causes discomfort, which we hate.

So we take action so we no longer have to feel that discomfort.

Problem > Pain > Action

Hand in fire > Physical Pain (burn)  > Move hand

No food > Physical Pain (hunger) > Find food

Broke > Psychological Pain > Make money

Low-status > Psychological Pain > Buy Lambo

PAIN COMPELS ACTION.

We are constantly seeking to alleviate physical & psychological pain.

We are constantly motivated to solve problems.

We are constantly creating or buying solutions.

When a problem is solvedpain is alleviated… and value is created.

Value Creation 💰

If something is “valuable” that means that it is useful for solving a problem(s).

Value is a measure of how useful something is.

The bigger problem something solves > the more pain it alleviates > the more valuable it is.

That being said, the value or “usefulness” of something is NOT standardized — meaning value is determined on an individual level, not globally.

What’s useful to someone could be useless to someone else.

This is because everyone faces different problems at different times.

I want you to consider why the following are valuable:

(How do they alleviate pain?)

  • Famous paintings

  • Bicycles

  • Signatures of sports players

  • Cheeseburgers

  • Diamonds

While the pain that cheeseburgers alleviate is obvious, the pain that famous paintings alleviate is less obvious to most people.

As we solve problems (alleviate pain) in the lower sections, we ascend the triangle — facing entirely new problems.

Our brains prioritize physical problems first because if we don’t solve those, we die.

You care a lot less about what car you drive if you’re starving to death.

You care a lot less about what clothes you have on if there’s a war going on outside your front door.

This explains why value isn’t standardized.

A famous painting could be worth millions to a wealthy, healthy individual.

(Current problem: status)

Yet that same painting is worth almost nothing to a starving child.

(Current problem: no food)

The value or usefulness of something is determined on an individual level, based on which problem they are CURRENTLY solving.

You’re about to realize how ridiculously powerful this truth is when it comes to making money…

Exchange of Value 🔄

Since value or “usefulness” is determined on an individual level (based on the current problem we are trying to solve), we exchange our less valuable things for more valuable things.

This is where 99.9% of people fail to understand what’s happening.

Because we perceive what we received from the exchange as more valuable than what we traded, we assume the other person “lost” in this exchange.

THIS COULD NOT BE FURTHER FROM THE TRUTH

IN A FAIR, HONEST EXCHANGE (no false information)...  ALL PARTIES BENEFIT!

Everyone “wins.”

Everyone receives value.

Everyone leaves the exchange with less pain than they have previously.

Value exchanges expedite pain alleviation.

Value exchanges expedite value creation.

Value exchanges facilitate human progress.

Without value exchanges, every person would have to “start over” from square one.

We would have to figure out how to get water, food, build a house, computers, phones, cars, or literally anything else from scratch.

Yeah… thank God for making this a multiplayer game.

Mediums of Exchange 💸

After a while, humans realized exchanging specific “solutions” or forms of value was terribly inefficient.

If you wanted a certain item you would have to find someone who also needed the exact item you had and wanted to trade.

To fix this, we developed different mediums of exchange and currencies.

These mediums or “stores of value” were things that were widely desired and, therefore, valuable, but they were also durable, portable, and easily stored.

Ex: Precious metals. (Gold, silver, etc.)

We then created paper money that was backed by precious metals (giving it it’s value) but was even more efficient for exchanging.

Then in the 70’s we stopped backing the US dollar with gold.

So… it’s back by nothing but people agreeing it has value lol, but that’s a story for another day.

When we trade our solutions/value for money we are receiving “future value.”

When you get paid money at work and then buy a haircut the next day, you are essentially trading work for a haircut but thanks to money being a medium of exchange, you are able to “store” that value until you want to exchange it at a future date.

Pretty cool right?

If you’re wondering why they don’t teach this in school… idk either bro

Let’s go leverage this knowledge to create a system that generates value (money)!

Catch you up in the next email!
